The Adder - loves trying new add-ins

Adders are the rarest of the types of users.

They have done some research and have found that they could potentially add some efficiency to Outlook through the use of add-ins.

That could be through other software or CRM's that they use that speak to Outlook or they may have read an article that suggested an add-in to solve a particular problem (eg, Grammarly).

If you are The Adder:

Firstly, congratulations on your curiosity and willingness to explore solutions and improve!

But have you ever had Outlook start behaving strangely after installing an add-in? Run slowly, for example? Some add-ins cause issues in Outlook, especially if you have too many.

If this is the case, limit your add-ins to the bare essentials and look for in-built Outlook solutions to what you were trying achieve with your add-in. There are too many possibilities to list here but it's always a good rule to find out if Outlook can solve your problem before looking to plug in an add-in.

If you have an add-in that causes issues in your inbox, we are very happy to see if we can help or help you find the solution within Outlook.

Doesn't hurt to ask if it could spare you the constant crashing of Outlook, right?!
